Grimm’s European Wieners with Sauerkraut & Apples

Ingredients: 
  • 22ml / 1 ½ Tbsp butter
  • 1 small red apple, cut into small cubes
  • 1 medium celery stalk finely chopped
  • 500ml / 2 cups sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
  • 125ml / ½ cup unsweetened apple juice
  • 4 Grimm’s European Wieners
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • Ground black pepper to taste
Preparation: 
  1. Preheat indoor grill or barbecue to med-high
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat
  3. Add apples and celery, cook for 3 minutes
  4. Add sauerkraut and apple juice, bring to a simmer for 5 minutes
  5. While sauerkraut is simmering, grill European Wieners until heated through
  6. Add green onion and pepper to sauerkraut mixture
  7. Put sauerkraut mixture on serving plate and arrange European Wieners on top
